Company Overview

Kairos Power is a new nuclear energy technology and engineering company whose mission is to enable the worlds transition to clean energy with the ultimate goal to dramatically improve peoples quality of life while protecting the environment. This goal will be accomplished through the commercialization of the fluoride-salt-cooled high-temperature reactor (FHR) that can be deployed with robust safety affordable costs and flexible operation to accommodate the expansion of variable renewables.

Job Summary

Kairos Power isseekinga curious and motivated Learning & Development Intern to support the design and delivery of impactful learning experiences in a fast-paced mission-driven organization. This role is ideal for a student interested in organizational development leadership development adult learning or HR strategy.

You will work closely with the Learning & Development and People Operations teams on real projects that directly support leaders and employees across the company. This is a hands-on internship where you will help build test and improve learning programs alongside experienced practitioners.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design and rollout of leadership and manager development programs including programs for first-time managers.
  • Assistwith creating learning content such as facilitator guides toolkits job aids and microlearning resources.
  • Help organize update and maintain learning pathways and content within the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Collect and analyze learner feedback and engagement data to support continuous improvement of learning programs.
  • Contribute to performance management enablement tools including goal setting feedback and development planning resources.
  • Support onboarding and culture-based learning tied to the Kairos Way and leadership competencies.
  • Research learning trends and best practices and help translate insights into practical usable tools.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing abachelors degree in Human Resources Organizational Development Psychology Education Business or a related field.
  • Comfort working with ambiguity and learning in a dynamic environment.
  • Alignment with a mission-driven high-accountability culture.
  • Demonstrated interest in how people learn and change behavior at work.
  • Experience with learning platforms content creation tools or facilitation preferred.
  • Strong analytical research or data interpretation skills preferred.

Additional Requirements

  • Overtime may berequiredoccasionally.

The hourly range for this position is $26 for employees working onsite at our Alameda CA headquarters. The range provided in this job posting represents the typical range or starting rate of candidates hired in California. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your education experience knowledge skills abilities the market data for your work location and a comparison to other employees already in the role.
