Job Summary:

As a Quality Inspector at Riverhawk Company you will play a crucial role in ensuring the precision and integrity of our products throughout the manufacturing process. Your meticulous attention to detail and commitment to upholding quality standards will directly contribute to the reliability and excellence of our engineering solutions. You will collaborate closely with our production team to conduct thorough inspections identify defects and uphold our reputation for delivering top-tier products to our clients.

What Youll Do:

  • Perform comprehensive inspections of machined parts components and assemblies using a variety of precision measuring instruments.
  • Follow established inspection procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and industry standards.
  • Identify and document defects discrepancies and non-conformities communicating findings to the production team and quality assurance leadership.
  • Collaborate with the production team to provide real-time feedback on quality issues and assist in resolving quality-related challenges.
  • Conduct first-article inspections on new or modified components validating their adherence to design specifications.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records reports and documentation to support traceability and compliance efforts.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives contributing to the enhancement of quality control processes.

What We Need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Quality Inspector preferably in a manufacturing or precision machining environment.
  • Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers micrometers gauges and optical comparators.
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings specifications and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Prior experience with ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality management systems is a plus.

  • Pay range - $17.00-20.00/hr (please note that this range will vary based upon factors including but not limited to prior experience knowledge skills and education as they relate to the positions qualifications.)
