Job Summary:

The Information Technology (IT) Infrastructure Manager oversees the design implementation and maintenance of the Arizona State Parks and Trails (ASPT) network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/Wireless) CyberSecurity compliance high availability and performance. The IT Infrastructure Manager maintains vendor relationships and aligns network services with business goals. The IT Infrastructure Manager directs the planning implementation and maintenance of ASPTs computing infrastructure including networks servers and security systems. The Infrastructure Manager plans organizes and manages IT infrastructure operations to ensure the stable operation of the ASPT infrastructure at our 30 park locations. This includes developing maintaining supporting and optimizing key functional areas particularly network infrastructure server infrastructure data communications telecommunications systems and related CyberSecurity requirements. The Infrastructure Manager schedules and directs activities to resolve hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion.

The IT Infrastructure Manager is an experienced senior-level infrastructure architect who advises and leads multiple infrastructure related activities simultaneously. They collaborate with leadership to implement strategic IT goals and ensure internal infrastructure projects align with these long-term objectives. The IT Infrastructure Manager also leverages their expertise to design and build network topologies to enable remote access and remote administration capabilities.

The IT Infrastructure Manager leads technology initiatives ensuring compliance with State policies and procedures budget adherence and long-term value. Collaborates with leadership to create master technology plans disaster recovery plans and oversees the lifecycle of technology assets within the State Parks ecosystem.

Job Duties:

- Directs the planning implementation and maintenance of ASPTs network infrastructure point-of-sale devices servers computing equipment and CyberSecurity systems.

- Design build review and maintain network topologies to enable remote access and remote administration capabilities.

- Leads technology initiatives ensuring compliance with State policies and procedures budget adherence and long-term value

- Reviews identifies and collaborates with leadership to create master technology plans disaster recovery plans and oversees the life cycle of technology assets within the State Parks ecosystem.

- Developing maintaining supporting and optimizing key functional areas particularly network infrastructure server infrastructure data communications telecommunications systems and related CyberSecurity requirements.

- Other duties as assigned as related to the position

Knowledge Skills & Abilities (KSAs):

Knowledge of:
- Advanced understanding of information technology cloud computing networks firewalls databases computers application development data management and security
- Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services virtual private cloud availability zones networking and systems administration.
- Thorough working knowledge of most infrastructure technologies utilized in anenterprise
- Advanced working knowledge of networking topologies
- Working knowledge of the State of Arizonas ADOA/ASET ADOHSs and SPOs policies programs and requirements
- Working knowledge of developing and executing training testing and operationalization plans

Selective Preference(s):

Bachelors degree plus 15 or more years of total experience combined in cloud computing systems administration systems engineering infrastructure architecture and systems design (or equivalent experience)

Pre-Employment Requirements:

- Must obtain possess and maintain a current Arizona Drivers license appropriate to assignment.
- CCNA
