Position Summary
- The Food & Beverage Supervisor supports daily operations across assigned outlets by working alongside front-line team members to ensure consistent service standards smooth service flow and a positive guest experience. This role provides hands-on leadership through coaching training and on-the-floor support while partnering closely with the Food & Beverage Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day Food & Beverage operations across assigned outlets.
- Lead coach and support team members during service onboarding and ongoing training.
- Help ensure service standards cleanliness and food safety expectations are consistently met.
- Support inventory flow par levels and basic cost controls.
- Maintain beverage controls including cash handling and key security.
- Assist guests as needed including beverage and wine selections.
- Foster teamwork clear communication and a steady service environment.
- Support overall Food & Beverage operations as needed.
Qualifications
- One or more years of supervisory or hands-on leadership experience in Food & Beverage or hospitality.
- Experience leading and supporting teams through coaching training and daily service execution.
- Basic wine knowledge or interest in supporting wine service and guest selections.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- A calm thoughtful approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced service environment.
- Professional presence and a positive attitude aligned with Sand Valley standards.
- Comfort working in a floor-based role with extended periods of standing and walking.
- Availability to work evenings weekends and holidays as operational needs require.
- Learn2Serve certification for alcohol service food handling and tobacco or ability to complete within 30 days.
