Rennes School of Business (Rennes SB) invites applications for a full-time permanent faculty position at the Assistant Professor level. The expected start date is September 2026. This recruitment is part of the expansion of our program portfolio and the schools continued international development including the strengthening of international academic partnerships and global learning pathways.

Marketing and Negotiation: Business NegotiationDigital MarketingBrand Management (with a particular focus on Luxury).

The application package consists of a cover letter (2 pages max) including a research statement and a teaching statement curriculum vitae (with the names and contact information of at least three referees) representative publications and/or working papers (maximum three) most recent available teaching evaluations and evidence of collaboration with industry or external stakeholders or of activities that connect research teaching and real-world impact (e.g. applied research projects consulting executive education partnerships or funded projects).

Profile required

• APhD degree (or equivalent) earned or nearing completion in the relevant discipline or a closely related field.
• A strong commitment to teaching excellence with a genuine interest in pedagogical innovation and student learning. Teaching is conducted in English; knowledge of French is not required.
• Evidence of strong potential to produce high-quality and impactful research demonstrated through a track record of research projects suitable for publication in leading academic journals.
• Experience in or strong interest for collaboration with industry public institutions or other external partners and the ability to bridge research with real-world applications and societal or managerial impact.
• Commitment to actively contributing to the development of the school its programs and its academic community.
