Job Summary
Key job responsibilities
Lead monthly and quarterly financial forecasting for sports production operations including P&L analysis and variance reporting. Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making for production investments and capital allocation. Partner with production teams to build accurate budgets for live sports events studio operations and production infrastructure. Oversee financial controllership for live sports productions ensuring accurate cost tracking and reporting. Monitor production spend against budgets identifying risks and opportunities proactively. Serve as a trusted finance partner to production content strategy and operations teams translating complex financial concepts into actionable insights. Support deal structuring and financial analysis for new sports rights acquisitions and production partnerships. Lead business case development for major capital investments in production facilities and technology. Analyze production efficiency metrics and identify opportunities for cost optimization. Drive process improvements to enhance financial visibility and operational efficiency.
- Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Statistics Business or a related field
- Experience building and managing financial models for business forecasting and problem solving or experience performing ad hoc analysis using advanced Excel
- Experience delivering forecasting budgeting and variance analysis and data interpretation of results or experience building and managing financial models for business forecasting and problem solving
- 3 years of entertainment brand or production entity experience
- MBA or CPA
- Experience in the entertainment industry
- Experience in automating deploying and supporting large-scale infrastructure
- Experience handling ambiguous or undefined challenges through strong problem solving abilities
- Knowledge of live sports production operations and workflows
- Experience with financial systems such as SAP Oracle or production accounting software
- Familiarity with capital budgeting and investment analysis
- Track record of driving process improvements and system implementations

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
