We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable ELA Interventionist to join our educational team. The ELA Interventionist will be responsible for providing targeted ELA instruction to K-8 students who require additional support to meet grade-level expectations. This role involves collaborating with teachers administrators and parents to develop and implement intervention strategies that promote student success in ELA.

Responsibilities
- Provide individual and small group Math and ELA instruction to students identified as needing intervention.
- Develop and implement effective Math and ELA intervention plans tailored to the specific needs of each student.
- Use data-driven assessment tools to monitor student progress and adjust instruction as necessary.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate intervention strategies into the regular classroom setting.
- Assist in the development and implementation of Math and ELA curriculum and instructional materials that support diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with teachers parents and administrators.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in Math and ELA instruction and intervention.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and achievement.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Education Math ELA or a related field preferred.
- Valid teaching certification/license for the appropriate grade levels.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching Math and ELA preferably in a K-8 setting.
- Strong knowledge of Math and ELA intervention strategies and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers administrators and parents.
- Proficiency in using technology and educational software to enhance Math and ELA instruction.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and varying abilities.
- Training or certification in Math and ELA intervention programs or strategies.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
