About STMA Schools
We are a district that serves over 6500 students and employs 850 employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis Minnesota. Our district is comprised of one primary school for kindergarten students three elementary schools for grades 1-4 two middle schools for grades 5-8 and one high school for grades 9-12.
Position Overview & Responsibilities
A summer school teachers responsible for preparing lessons instructing students with a wide range of abilities assessing student learning collecting and analyzing student data to plan instruction creating an engaging and respectful classroom environment communicating with students parent and multiple stakeholders maintaining accurate records supervising students participating in school improvement initiatives and learning professionally.
This is through the STMA Online Supplimental Program where we are offering Phy Ed and Health classes.
Dates and Schedule: June15-July 3 2026: M-F 5 hours per day; plus an additional2 hours of training the week of June 8th if new to STMA Online. Date/time of training No. 9 - The STMA Online Learning Memorandum of Understanding to the2025-2026 Master Certified Contract. Starting with this summer this position will carry over from Summer to Summer each year for current certified staff unless the staff member retires or resigns or enrollment requires the reduction of courses or course school district retains all rights to release an Online teacher on the basis of performance at its discretion with written notice and a minimum reasonable period to remedy.
Requirements & Qualifications
Requires Bachelor Degree in Education and Tier 3 or Tier 4 teaching licensure in Physical Education/Health Education from the State of Minnesota (PELSB).
Salary & Benefits
Internal applicants accepted only. $45/hour for current certified staff. No additional benefits. PleaseAttachment No. 9 - The STMA Online Learning Memorandum of Understanding to the2025-2026 Master Certified Contract.
