Job Summary

Join our team as an Assembler and play a key role in building cutting-edge filling and depositing equipment.

At IFS we dont just build machines; we create world-class application-specific and robust systems for our customers across major industries.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Read and interpret schematics blueprints and assembly drawings
Position and fasten parts using screws rivets bolts and other fasteners; apply sealants as required.
Connect wiring tubing and mechanical components.
Inspect work for defects test completed assemblies for proper function; adjust as needed.
Use hand tools (e.g. screwdrivers pliers wrenches) and power tools (e.g. drills saws).
Perform basic machine calibration and alignment as required.
Maintain tools and perform basic equipment upkeep.
Accurately document assembly steps issues or productivity.
Maintain a clean organized and safe work area in compliance with company safety procedures.
Share knowledge and assist other areas as needed.

Qualifications/Essential Functions:

Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools.
Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Knowledge of shop measurement.
Basic paperwork and counting skills.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs. as well as bend sit and stand repeatedly.
Able to work both independently and as a part of a team.
Commitment to maintaining a clean organized and safe work environment.
Willingness to assist other departments as directed.
