As a Residential Insurance Specialist at Horizon you will

Assist patients with obtaining insurance as well as resolving insurance issues prior to admission.
Assist current patients in recertifying and updating their insurance information through NYS of Health.
Take patient payments for copays and/or deductibles.
Conduct bimonthly insurance checks for patients on our waitlist.
Assists Financial Resource Manager with reviewing patient balances and setting up payment plans.

Bachelors Degree required.
6 months of experience with health insurance required.
Strong customer service skills.

Location:

6302 Inducon Dr East Sanborn NY.

This position offers the opportunity to work off-site once fully trained with flexibility to travel between our Horizon Village Campus and Terrace House locations as needed.

Hours:

This position is full-time with flexible daytime hours from Monday-Friday.

Compensation:

Horizon is consistently evaluating our compensation and benefits packages to ensure we remain competitive. The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00. Starting pay may be impacted based on experience and education. Compensation adjustments are evaluated annually.

Physical demands associated with this position include:

Sitting for extended periods alternating between standing and sitting
Mobility required with repetitive wrist hand and finger movements
Handling light duties occasionally lifting objects up to 20 pounds
