This role combines advanced security systems sales expertise with specialized correctional technology knowledge serving as a trusted advisor to clients by delivering compliant reliable and operationally effective solutions that support life-safety security and facility operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales & Business Development
- Manage the complete sales process from opportunity identification through contract award and project turnover.
- Identify qualify and develop new opportunities using structured sales methodologies such as Sandler SPIN Challenger and similar approaches.
- Maintain a strong and accurate sales pipeline within CRM to meet or exceed company revenue goals.
- Build long-term relationships with correctional administrators facility leadership executives and key stakeholders.
Technical & Solution Development
- Design estimate and propose integrated correctional security and low-voltage solutions.
- Serve as a technical and operational consultant for correctional facilities ensuring solutions meet compliance safety and operational requirements.
- Develop solution strategies that address life-safety security regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
- Conduct site visits surveys and plan/specification reviews to support accurate system design and pricing.
Proposal & Project Support
- Lead or support customer presentations demonstrations and technical briefings.
- Support RFP RFQ and proposal development including scope reviews clarifications and value-engineering opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with estimating engineering and operations teams to ensure accurate scoping and seamless project handoff.
- Participate in contract reviews project kickoff meetings and post-award scope validation.
- Promote and sell service agreements and long-term maintenance and support solutions.
Industry Engagement
- Represent Convergentz at industry events trade shows and correctional technology forums.
- Stay current on correctional standards technologies and industry trends to provide informed guidance to customers.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 10 years of experience supporting correctional or public-sector electronic security systems.
- Hands-on experience with jail control systems detention intercoms access control and video surveillance platforms.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints schematics and technical documentation.
- Working knowledge of network infrastructure and cybersecurity concepts as they relate to security systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and industry-standard design and estimating tools.
- Strong communication presentation analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Highly self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Valid drivers license with willingness to travel as required.
