Job Description
The client is seeking an experienced Telemetry Technician (Monitor Technician) to support the Emergency Department. This role involves continuous cardiac monitoring accurate interpretation of cardiac rhythms and prompt response to alarm events to ensure patient safety.
The Telemetry Technician will work closely with nursing and clinical teams in a fast-paced emergency care environment.
Compensation
Key Responsibilities
Perform continuous ECG/telemetry monitoring
Accurately interpret cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias
Respond promptly to monitor alarms and report changes to clinical staff
Document cardiac rhythms and monitoring activities per policy
Collaborate effectively with nurses and emergency department staff
Requirements
BLS Certification (AHA or Red Cross)
Dysrhythmia Certification Required
EKG Certification Preferred
Prior experience clearly documented as Telemetry Technician / Monitor Technician
High School Diploma or equivalent
