Position: VP Sales
Location:USA Remote US or Bethlehem PA
Compensation: $250k - $300k base based on experience
Job Summary:
The Vice President of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing the companys sales strategy within the mining and industrial sectors driving revenue growth expanding market share and leading a high-performing sales team across North America.
Responsibilities
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safety & Compliance: Ensuring safety and compliance within all aspects of the Sales Department activities.
- SalesStrategyDevelopment:Createandexecutecomprehensivesalesstrategies toachievecompanyrevenueandgrowthgoals.
- TeamLeadership:Leadcoachandmentorahigh-performingsalesteamfosteringacultureofaccountabilityandperformance.
- MarketAnalysis:Conductmarketresearchtoidentifynewbusinessopportunitiesandcompetitivepositioning.
- ClientRelationshipManagement:Buildandmaintainstrongrelationshipswithkeyclientsandpartnersacting as the primary point of contact for high-value accounts.
- SalesOperationsOversight: Monitor sales performance metrics ensuring efficient processes and tools are in place to support the team.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing product development and finance to ensure alignment on lead generation strategies product offerings and financial forecasting.
- PerformanceReviews: Conduct regular performance evaluations set individual targets and create personalized development plans for team members.
Qualifications
Candidate should possess the following:
- 10 years sales experience required within mining industrial or B2B
- 5 years in a senior sales leadership position
- A bachelors degree in Business Marketing Engineering or a related field is typically required; an MBA preferred
- Proficiency in CRM and sales analytics
- Strategic thinker with the ability to deliver results through tactical management
- Strong business and financial acumen ability to understand budgets and link sales performance to P&L impact
- Exceptional leadership communication and negotiation skills
- Strategic pricing
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a group
- Experienced in an international business environment and working with multinational companies
- Can do attitude
- Ability to understand and coordinate the interrelationships between projects stakeholders
- Good communication and people skills
- Works well under pressure
- Ability to present ideas effectively
- Able to evaluate ideas of others
KPIs:
- Achieve quarterly (and annual) revenue and profitability targets
- Pricing targets
- Sales pipeline conversion rates
- Market share growth
