Were seeking a reliable and dedicated Certified Medication Aide to join our growing team! This role requires trustworthiness consistency in attendance and the ability to effectively multitask in a dynamic environment. A professional and cooperative demeanor is essential to collaborate with others and meet the demands of this position.

Your Impact as a Certified Medication Aide

In this role you will:

  • Administer Medications: Properly administer prescribed PO topical (unbroken skin) and rectal medications according to physicians orders and company policies.
  • Monitor and Report: Observe for adverse effects of administered medications and report them immediately to the Charge Nurse.
  • Document Administration: Record all medication administration according to company policies.
  • Ensure Safety and Security: Maintain the security of the medication cart and ensure a safe hazard-free environment.
  • Maintain Confidentiality: Protect the privacy and confidentiality of resident information.
  • Follow Infection Control Policies: Adhere to infection control protocols during medication administration.
  • Monitor Resident Status: Notify the Charge Nurse of complaints reactions or any changes in resident status.
  • Report Errors: Report any medication errors immediately to the Charge Nurse.
