  • This is not an hourly position. The Student Employee will be paid at the end of the semester when the supervisor issues payment.
  • This position is paid via a stipend if all requirements are met:
    • Attend all meetings as required with CAB advisor.
    • No meetings should be missed by executive board members unless excused by CAB advisor President or Vice President.
    • Executive Board Members must attend at least 55% of events per semester. Four events a year are mandatory they are: Homecoming Community Trick or Treat Spring Formal and Spring Fest
    • If you are the chair planning the event you MUST attend the event.
    • There must always be at least two Executive board members at all CAB Events

Evaluation Period:Annual performance evaluations if the student works the entire academic year. If the student works one semester the performance evaluation will be completed after that semester

Purpose:Is responsible for the creation of all advertisement for club events including but not limited to big posters flyers dorm storms table toppers etc. and can ask for other members assistance when necessary. Will finalize and hang advertisements (in compliance with school policy) on campus. This Chair is responsible for maintaining the clubs Facebook page Twitter page and Instagram page through the making of statuses about events and meetings held by the club. Will post marketing at least 2 weeks before an event.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Shall work with the entire executive board to assist with Welcome Back Week 5K Family Weekend Homecoming Community Trick-or-Treat Spring Formal and Spring Fest.
  • Shall be responsible for setting up and getting ready for events and the supplies needed.
  • Shall be required to meet with their committee individually on the weeks that the general members do not meet with the executive board.
  • Shall be responsible for keeping organization visible on campus.
  • Shall be responsible for clean up at events
  • Shall be responsible for assisting with fundraising events.
  • Shall work with the Marketing Chairs to help advertise the event including but not limited to getting PR Requests to Marketing in a timely manner
  • Shall be willing to work with other Executive Board members if they need help with an event
  • Shall be responsible for following through on all aspects of the company contracts with the exception of final negotiations which will be completed by the CAB advisor (signing of document)
  • Shall be responsible for turning in an event evaluation form to the Vice President within two weeks of an event.
  • Shall work with Campus Police when security is needed for events.
  • Shall be responsible for turning in all receipts to the Treasurer within two weeks of an event.
  • Must have a sign in sheet at all events. The Coordinator is responsible for signing in and out of all events to help maintain a valid active member roster
  • Shall meet with the CAB advisor once monthly at a minimum.
  • Shall be responsible for leading committee in a safe educational and effective way.
  • Shall assist during Orientations and Campus Fair.
  • All executive board members must hold two (2) office hours every week and record their hours on a sign-in sheet.
  • All executive board members are required to attend weekly meeting. All general members are expected to attend every other weekly meeting with the executive board. On the weeks that the general members are not meeting with the executive board the general members must meet with their chair as a committee at another time during the week.



Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled student at Mount St. Joseph University
  • Applicants for President and Vice President of CAB must have served at least one (1) year on CAB to be eligible for slating.
  • Applicants for all other executive board positions must have served at least one semester on CAB.
  • Ability to work on own initiative independently and to deadlines
  • Well organized punctual and reliable
  • The ability to communicate sensitively and tactfully both orally and in writing with individuals at all levels within the University
