What youll be doing
Be part of a high performing team who are instrumental in supporting both our proprietary brands (suppliers) and categories grow their business through understanding customer behaviour.
Through innovative analysis and insight work in collaboration with teams across Insights Boots Media Group and Commercial to recommend and influence the future activity of our suppliers and categories.
Key responsibilities
Be a necessary partner to our suppliers and Boots Media Group and Commercial teams. Support them to better understand who their customer is and what when where and how they are shopping within Boots.
Deliver end-to-end customer focussed analysis solutions to main business issues and questions through custom analysis; scope and manage projects from responding to the brief to impactful delivery of results and recommendations
Champion the use of insights to shape and steer data-driven commercial decisions; contribute to the implementation of Boots Media Group Marketing Plans and Customer and Loyalty Strategies
Develop and deliver our reporting capability for our digital marketing channels providing customer-focussed insight and return on investment reporting
Build relationships with all partners at all levels ensuring a sound understanding of their reporting and insights needs
Aim to improve ways of working and creating efficiencies within the team such as through standardising processes or automating code and manual tasks
Grow our main strategic work streams and contribute to a high performing analytics team.
With the support of our Senior Analysts improve personal growth through the development of business know-how and analytical tools and techniques
It would be great if you also have
Analyse complex sets of data and exposure to a range of analytical tools and techniques
Extract and manipulate large datasets through SQL R or similar query tools
Proficient in excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and PowerPoint with the ability to manipulate and visualise data
Analyse data at a technical level whilst being able to interpret and deliver findings to a non-technical or data driven mindset audience
A desire to develop your knowledge in the use of customer insight in a retail and commercial
