The Louisiana Bucket Brigade(LABB)is a 501(c)(3) environmental health and justice organization working with communities that neighbor the states oil refineries and chemical plants. Job Title: Graphic Designer
Job Status: Contractor (15-30hours permonth)
Compensation:$45per hour

Scope of Work

The graphic design contractor would work with various departments of Louisiana Bucket Brigade mainly but not limited to communicationsdevelopmentand programsto createvisually inspiring materials consistent with our brand guidelines across allreports communicationsmarketingand solicitations intended for externaland/orpublic audiences.

Responsibilities and assignments will include:

ReportDesigns:Designprofessional digestible and engaging410-pagereportsfor print and digital viewing including LABBs annual impact report and program replated reports(2-4 per year).

FundraisingMaterials:Create designsforprint mailappealmaterialsfordevelopment includingletterstri-folds cards envelopes inserts stewardship(2-3 per year).

Event and OtherMaterials:Create designs forpostersflyersletterhead andbrochuresfor press conferencesand other events (3-5 per year).

Merchandise:Design formerchandiselike t-shirts totebagsand stickers.

Social Media& Communications:Designtemplatesand graphicsfor social media email and other communications as needed.

Organizational Branding:Maintainand update organizational branding including updating logo updates.

Reports To

The graphic designer will work with thesocial media coordinator.

Requirements

• Must have a valid drivers license

• Mustbe able to express acommitment to racial justice and diversity equity
  andinclusion across allgroups and social segments.

• Aligned with LABBs mission and core values.

Preferred Qualifications

• Skilled in design software including Adobe Creative Suite.

• Experience with multimedia design for print web and social media.

• Graphic design skills includingproficiencyin typography color theory and design principles to create impactful visuals that align with the brand.

• Ability to clearly articulate ideas and collaborate with team members.

• Understanding ofLouisiana Bucket Brigades mission and ability to translate to impactful and compelling visual design.

• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and communicate ina timelyfashion.

• Experience with multimedia design for print web and social media.
