Job Summary

Qualifications:

Appropriate licensure/certification through the Ohio Department of Education.
Must be AWS certified welder with the ability to teach Mig Tig Stick and FLUX Coredwelding.
Must possess or have the ability to obtain credential/certificate for welding inspector.
Strong organizational communication human relations instructional classroom. management team and public relations/community skills.
A sincere interest and a commitment to work with students parents staff businesses community organizations and associate district schools.

Certification:Career-Technical or Vocational Certificate/License in Welding & Cutting (orthe ability to get one)

Duties:

Teach high school students skills and knowledge in the field of welding.
Work closely with the immediate supervisor advisory committee and academic teachers to coordinate instruction and to prepare students for successful completion of the arts and communications program.
Teach and manage labs in the welding program.
Plan direct and evaluate the instructional process to best meet the needs of students.

Contract:2025-2026 days TBD contracted days 183 (prorated)

Salary: Appropriate placement on 2025-2026 teachers salary schedule based oncertification/licensure education/degree and experience.
