Position Responsibilities
The part-time staff member will support the Office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness with a range of analytical and reporting activities including but not limited to:

  • Assist with institutional survey data analysis and reporting

  • Support data collection and reporting for the STARS (Sustainability Tracking Assessment & Rating System) initiative

  • Assist with configuration and administration of student course evaluation surveys

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards

  • Provide data analysis and reporting support for institutional research projects

  • Perform additional research and analytical tasks as assigned

  • Training and ongoing support will be provided by permanent staff.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree

  • Strong attention to detail reliability and an understanding of the confidential nature of institutional data

  • Proficiency in data extraction database querying and report generation

  • Experience with statistical software data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau) and Microsoft Office

  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced office environment and meet deadlines

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders in an academic setting

  • Applicants must not be currently enrolled as students at Stevens Institute of Technology
