Job Summary

RieLes Group is seeking multiple experienced Medical Records & Support Assistants Medical Records Technicians who are interested in working in the Minneapolis MN area. These positions support federal medical readiness operations for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and the Department of Defense working with the Maine Army National Guard (MEARNG) to ensure Soldier medical readiness compliance and deployment preparation.
Services directly impact operational readiness medical case tracking and records management for military personnel across the state of Maine.

Medical Records & Support Assistants Medical Records Technicians

Employment Type: Full-Time Onsite
Schedule / Shift:
Monday to Friday
8-hour shifts (typically between 7:30 AM 4:30 PM)
No nights weekends or holidays (unless mission requires)

Minimum Qualifications:
Required:
Department of Labor Labor Category 12190 Medical Records Technician
High attention to detail and accuracy handling PII/PHI

Preferred:
1 year of medical records experience (preferred but not mandatory)
Familiarity with AR 40-66 and DoD medical records procedures

Compliance Access and Training
Eligible for CAC issuance and background investigation
Complete and maintain: AT Level 1; iWATCH; IA; OPSEC Level I; and other mandated trainings
Proficient with HRR module MEDCHART scanning/indexing workflows and records inventory processes

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create maintain and manage medical and dental records
  • Scan index label and file documentation in HRR
  • Conduct quarterly medical records inventories
  • Support monthly eCase reviews
  • Request and track external medical records
  • Upload records to MEDCOM / MEARNG custodians
  • Support post-MRE data entry (300500 pages per event)
  • Daily scanning (2550 pages/day)
  • Assist with scheduling Soldier appointments
  • Maintain UIC DMD lists
  • Support deployment medical packets (Bumble Bee jackets)
