Responsibilities
- Greet customers and technicians promptly and professionally.
- Identify and locate the correct parts using electronic catalog systems.
- Provide accurate pricing and availability information.
- Process parts orders returns and exchanges efficiently.
- Maintain inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment.
- Receive inspect and shelve incoming parts shipments.
- Coordinate with the service department to ensure timely delivery of parts for repairs.
- Ensure the parts counter and storage areas are clean and organized.
- Assist in conducting regular inventory audits.
- Stay up to date with parts programs promotions and recalls.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and courtesy.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in automotive parts sales preferably at a GM dealership.
- Familiarity with GM parts catalog systems (e.g. GlobalConnect EPC).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to multitask and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office inventory software).
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or automotive training is a plus.
