Job Summary

The Golden Hills School Division invites applicationsfor a full -time ( 1.0 FTE) probationary teacher at École Brentwood Elementary School in Strathmore AB for the 2026/2027 school year . The teaching assignment is for: STRIVE

École Brentwood Elementary School is a dual-track kindergarten to grade 6 school. As a dual-track school they are extremely proud of the diverse learning opportunities offered to their students. Teachers that are interested in collaboration teamwork and culture building are encouraged to apply.

Strive is a classroom setting that supports students with a range of learning needs. The successful candidate will demonstrate skilled ability in:

Supporting students with diverse needs
Developing ILPS and BSPs
Providing direction and support to Educational Assistants
Collaborating with internal and external team members
Understanding of mental health behavioural and educational supports
Communicating and collaborating with families

The successful candidate will also demonstrate strong 21st century teaching skills including learning design that ensures high student engagement critical thinking skills inquiry and the use of technology as a learning tool.
