Senior Test Automation Engineer

• Collaborate within an Agile team environment to design automate and continuously improve software testing practices that support creativity productivity and customer success.
• Contribute to a culture of shared learning by participating in sprint ceremonies peer reviews Hackathons Tech Talks and Communities of Practice.
• Develop and maintain automated integration and systemlevel tests that strengthen our automation pipeline and support consistent releaseready deliverables.
• Build innovative testing solutions using modern tools and frameworks to support ongoing product excellence and market leadership.
• Partner with your team to refine processes improve test environments and integrate highquality practices into daily development workflows.
• Debug troubleshoot and validate software issues across both unreleased and customerfacing products ensuring strong product performance and reliability.

For This Role You Will Need:

• Bachelors or masters degree in Computer Engineering Electrical Engineering Computer Science Chemical Engineering or a related field along with relevant experience
• 5 years experience testing software products and designing test cases from a user perspective or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to develop automated tests using tools such as C# .Net Python Git Bash/PowerShell scripting and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical thinking with a desire to explore new technologies and apply them to solve test automation challenges.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in Agile development environments.
• Commitment to building highquality work through consistent testing debugging and documentation practices.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States. Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder). Emerson will not petition for H-1B visas for this position.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Experience automating tests for embedded systems firmware or hardwareintegrated products.
• Handson experience with test automation tools such as Selenium GitLab CI Azure DevOps or other CI/CD platforms.
• Experience in API and/or Integration testing
• Experience developing and executing automated integration tests system tests or hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) tests.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and participation in sprint planning retrospectives code reviews or test design reviews.
