Established in 2010 the Energy Research Institute @ NTU () is a pan-university research institute that focuses on systems-level research for tropical megacities. It performs translational research that covers the energy value chain from generation to innovative end-use solutions motivated by industrialization and deployment. has multiple Interdisciplinary Research Programmes which focus on translational Research Development & Deployment which focus on specific area of the energy value chain and a number of Living labs and Testbeds which facilitate large scale technology deployment enabling validation and demonstration of real-world applications
We are looking for aResearch Fellow to work on battery flow development joint lab research projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Electrochemical process on interface phenomena
Battery testing under different conditions
Simulation of scaled up process.
Interface with machine learning group on data base set up
Battery safety testing
Presenting research advances and outcomes at relevant events
Job Requirements:
Ph.D in chemistry/ Materials Science/physics
Candidates with strong background in Materials chemistry/Physical chemistry.
Experience with energy storage system or electrochemical system (Batteries)
Encourage initiating activities on battery development devising and analytic process
Experience in machine learning will be preferred
Candidates with strong publication/patent records will be preferred
Good command of oral and written English- essential for data analysis and communication with stakeholders
Competent in teamwork good interaction with funding institutions and industry
Ability to work in autonomy to respect timelines to be well organized to report on a regular basis to the management to continue to learn
