To develop novel label-free CQAs based on cell biophysical properties.
To validate MRR as novel CQA in stem cell manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop a microfluidic prototype to analyse the electrical signals of cells.
Characterise and optimise the algorithm for signal data processing for real-time cell analysis and sorting
Develop a user-interface platform for end-user testing of clinical samples.
Support lab procurement and safety-related documentations
Assist PI in grant and proposal applications and progress/final reports
Direct Report 1-2 undergraduate students or PhD students
Requirements:
Interested candidate should possess a PhD qualification in mechanical engineering biomedical engineering or a relevant biological or engineering discipline. We seek a motivated individual who can work well independently as well as with a team. He/she is preferred to have experiences in:
Microfluidic design and fabrication
MatLAB and/or Python proficiency for data processing
PCB designing and/or microprocessor programming (ARM)
Rapid Prototyping (3D printing Raspberry Pi FPGA)
Electrode patterning and cleanroom fabrication techniques
Good team player with strong interpersonal skills
Entry level applicants will also be considered.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Publication track record in microfluidics impedance cytometry and regenerative medicine is an advantage
