Civil Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Summary
The Litigation Associate will support a busy civil litigation practice handling complex matters from inception through resolution. This role is ideal for an attorney with at least one year of civil litigation experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment values collaboration and is eager to develop strong advocacy and courtroom skills. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement and meaningful exposure to a broad range of litigation matters.
Responsibilities
- Manage a civil litigation caseload from initial pleadings through trial or resolution
- Draft pleadings motions discovery requests and responses with attention to detail and deadlines
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda to support litigation strategy
- Prepare for and attend depositions hearings mediations and trials
- Take and defend fact witness and expert depositions
- Communicate regularly with clients providing case updates and status reports
- Collaborate with partners senior attorneys experts and support staff on case strategy
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active admission to the Massachusetts State Bar
- At least one year of civil litigation experience
- Experience practicing in Massachusetts state and federal courts
- Strong legal research writing and advocacy skills
- Ability to draft and argue dispositive motions and manage discovery effectively
