A little about this position:

Operate and Maintain the Via Ferrata and all components in a safe and enjoyable manner for the participant through safety instruction and route guiding course organization and gear explanation.
Guide guests to outstanding experience through superior guest service.

Requirements:

Must have completed an SPI training course and assessment from AMGA
Previous experience as a mountaineering guide or as an adventure sports coach
Expert rope handling skills are required and a minimum of 5 years mountaineering experience
Must be able to identify object dangers associated in mountaineering
Must have self-rescue knowledge
Must have experience in rope anchoring and haul systems
Accomplished and experienced in Trad Ice Alpine climbing
Must have the ability to work with diverse groups of people and confidence in ability to instruct groups and enforce procedures
Experience leading children/adults and a passion for working with kids
Good communication and customer service skills
CPR and/or First Aid Training a plus
Able to lift 50 lbs.

Hourly pay rate: $20.00 to $35.21
