Job Summary
Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and proactive Safety Officer to ensure compliance with health safety and environmental (HSE) regulations at the workplace. The ideal candidate should hold a Diploma and certifications such as NEBOSH IGC IOSH and OSHA with relevant experience in enforcing safety protocols and conducting risk assessments on industrial or construction sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Conduct safety inductions toolbox talks and training sessions for workers.
Perform risk assessments and recommend corrective actions to mitigate hazards.
Investigate incidents and near-misses prepare reports and implement preventive measures.
Ensure the use of PPE and enforce adherence to safety policies.
Maintain safety documentation inspection checklists and compliance records.
Coordinate with project managers and supervisors to promote a safety-first culture.
Qualifications & Certifications Required:
Diploma in Engineering or a related field.
NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) Mandatory
IOSH Managing Safely Preferred
OSHA 30-Hour Safety Training Preferred
Good understanding of HSE regulations and emergency procedures.
Strong observation reporting and communication skills.
