Job Summary
Your role
Reporting to the Director Supply Chain the position will lead and/or support project procurement activities and other initiatives in the areas of supply chain and procurement.
What youll do
Collaborate with key stakeholders to define and implement procurement strategies for equipment and related-services supporting new data center construction projects at Digital Realty
Coordinate equipment delivery timelines in alignment with project schedules and cross-functional teams including Design Engineering and Construction.
Manage the day-to-day procure-to-pay (P2P) process and act as the liaison between project management and suppliers to ensure timely project delivery.
Drive supply chain improvements through strategic sourcing process optimization and supplier performance management.
Organize maintain and oversee supplier contracts including the management and execution of all related change orders.
Track and report supply chain cost savings comparing actual results against targets.
Monitor and report supplier performance using key performance indicators (KPIs).
Coordinate KPI surveys with internal stakeholders to support the Strategic Supplier Management program.
Contribute to initiatives aimed at streamlining the P2P process.
Support the implementation of new technologies related to Supply Chain and Procurement.
What youll need
Proven experience in sourcing and procurement with a focus on project-based purchasing.
Proven success in procuring negotiating and contracting across multiple categories.
Bachelors degree in Engineering Business Supply Chain or a related field.
Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience with ERP systems.
Demonstrated expertise in negotiation.
Experience with direct responsibility for contract development and execution.
Proficiency in a range of software applications including the ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets.
