JOB TITLE: Medical Assistant Supervisor
This position will report to our Clinic Director and travel between all offices as needed.
5 Days per week 8am - 5pm *outside hours when necessary
GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
As a member of the patient care team the Medical Assistant Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all functions associated with the operation of the back office as it relates to the Medical Assistants. These duties include scheduling procedures coordinating patient services such as MRI/CT and Physical Therapy documenting vitals and medical history in the EMR system instrument care and a variety of tasks in a clinical setting. Additional responsibilities are staffing assignments annual reviews tracking and addressing attendance and performance issues. The supervisor must be an effective communicator in written and verbal communication and have the ability to work effectively with medical staff management all internal departments as well as patients and external agencies.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Two years of related experience in a healthcare organization recommended but not required.
- Certification NOT Required.
