The University continues to uphold its mission of enhancing the quality of life and preserving protecting and interpreting First Nations peoples history language culture and artistic is a unique learning place specializing in Indigenous knowledge and providing post-secondary education for Indigenous and non-Indigenous students within a culturally supportive First Nations University of Canada is a federated college of the University of Regina and its academic programs are accredited through that values include wisdom respect humility sharing harmony beauty strength and : Duties:We seek applicants for course development of an introductory micro-badge on Understanding Midwifery in Canada who can: Virtually meet with stakeholders regulatory bodies and educational institutions Understand students perspective in learning to register with a regulatory body Develop/edit PowerPoint lectures and visuals Create multiple choice questions for each module Update visuals links and videos Develop rubrics to address understanding and application of content and concepts Develop qualitative rubrics to address student academic writing and focus on the Truth and Reconciliation CommissionExamples of topics: Canadian Context of midwifery working as an autonomous care-provider ethical practice in Canada family and client centered dynamics informed consent registering with regulatory bodies and Canadian Indigenous perspectives on :The candidate must demonstrate experience in these qualities or have the equivalent of these competencies:Masters Degree in Curriculum Development (Post-Secondary Development); or an equivalent of work experience in a Post-Secondary Health related environment with at least a Bachelors degree in the Health field or Cultural Studies preferably with a major in curriculum of online systems and how to organize and move content into that systemAbility to manage their own workload meet deadlines report to a supervisor about updates on progress for reviewEffective research and design skills with attention to accuracy and detailEducation experience especially in an Indigenous context considered an assetKnowledge of regulatory process is an assetIntercultural competence including intercultural sensitivity and adaptability and the ability to conduct oneself professionally is essentialSalary: $7780If you are interested in this opportunity please apply online at .
