As our Accounts Payable Team Leader youll guide a team of 10 specialists ensuring seamless operations strong supplier relationships and continuous process improvement. If you love solving complex issues empowering people and driving efficiency through automation and transformation this role is made for you.
What Youll Do:
Operations & Reporting
- Oversee daytoday AP Invoice Processing & Issue Resolution activities
- Monitor team KPIs performance trends and operational metrics
- Act as the final escalation point for critical internal and external queries
- Ensure timely and accurate month/quarter/yearend close activities
- Deliver daily weekly and monthly reporting for AP performance and issue resolution
- Analyze results identify gaps and continuously drive improvements
Policies Controls & Compliance
- Ensure full SOX compliance across assigned processes
- Support internal/external audits and local statutory requirements
- Guarantee VAT compliance for all APprocessed invoices
- Partner closely with Procurement Controllership FP&A and VAT teams to strengthen controls
- Own update and maintain all AP SOPs workflows and escalation maps
Process Transformation & Automation
- Lead and execute improvement initiatives that optimize the AP process
- Champion automation opportunities and departmentwide workflow enhancements
- Support regional and global P2P transformation projects
- Embed a strong rootcauseanalysis mindset within the team
- Identify process gaps and partner with stakeholders to implement scalable solutions
People Leadership
- Manage and develop a diverse AP team (seniors invoice processors issue resolution specialists)
- Set clear goals KPIs and expectations
- Ensure structured onboarding and continuous learning through refreshers and knowledgesharing
- Drive succession planning recruitment and performance management
What We Need:
- Experience: minimum 5 years experience in Finance
- Education: University Degree in Accounting/Economics/Finance
- Tools: MS Office SAP
- Language: English
