Fords Electric Vehicles Digital and Design (EVDD) team is charged with delivering the companys vision of a fully electric transportation future. Responsibilities
The Shipping and Receiving Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the shipping and receiving department. This role ensures that all incoming materials are processed accurately and all outgoing orders are dispatched on time meeting quality standards and customer expectations. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who can optimize warehouse workflows manage a diverse team and maintain a safe organized environment
Qualifications
Youll have...
Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in warehouse management logistics or supply chain operations.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required; a Bachelors degree in Logistics Business Management or a related field is preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or ERP software (such as SAP Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics). Strong skills in Microsoft Excel are often essential for tracking metrics.
Leadership: Proven ability to manage a team in a fast-paced high-pressure environment.
Certifications: Forklift operator certification is typically required. Professional certifications (like APICS or CSCP) are a plus.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry and documentation.
