| JOB DESCRIPTION | Job Title:QUALITY ASSURANCE INSPECTOR | Employment Status: Full-Time | FLSA Status: Non-Exempt | Department: Quality | Position Reports To: Quality Supervisor | Summary Description: Test inspect and troubleshoot problems with products at various stages of the production process and compile and evaluate statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products. | Essential Functions: - Performing product inspections at different stages of the part processes to ensure product quality.
- The product inspections would include visual inspections borescope inspections and wall thickness inspections.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections noting deviations or defects found to ensure traceability and quality control.
- Confer with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards (as required)
- Communicate identified defects promptly to supervisors and collaborate on corrective actions for timely resolution.
- Performing inspections at random to assess product quality.
- Accepting or rejecting products and discussing the inspection results with the production team.
- Provide interpretation of quality requirements on production floor
- Analyze quality-related customer concerns identify root causes and collaborate on solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Recommend modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability
- Perform any and all other job related tasks as assigned
