Responsibilities:
- Perform failure analyses of motors returned to St. Louis and drive corrective actions with Nidec plants
- Conduct customer on-site visits to review Quality issues and drive improvement actions
- Host periodic meetings with customers to review Quality metrics
- Utilize problem-solving tools such as 5 Why Analysis Fishbone Diagram Pareto etc.
- Perform data analytics reporting and management presentations
- Respond to customers corrective action (SCAR/8D) requests
- Work with Nidec St. Louis Engineers to support new product developments
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge on Quality Problem-Solving Tools and Statistics
- Familiar with product reliability testing
- Experience in motor assembly and manufacturing
- Willing to travel U.S. domestic and international
- Able to work with global cross-functional teams
- Certified Six Sigma Green Belt preferred
Skills:
- Strong oral and written English language communication
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
- Data analytics using MS Excel or Minitab
Education:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Experience:
- 3 years in Quality Assurance gained from working in motor manufacturing or similar field
