We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on infrastructure automation and management in a Linux-based environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining scalable secure and reliable infrastructure to support our development and production systems. This role requires deep expertise in Linux systems automation tools and cloud platforms.What Youll Bring:
- Infrastructure Design & Management
- Oversee the design implementation and maintenance of Linux-based servers and services across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions for repeatable and automated deployments.
- Automation & CI/CD
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
- Automate system provisioning configuration and monitoring using tools like Ansible Terraform or similar.
- Monitoring & Performance
- Implement robust monitoring logging and alerting solutions (e.g. Prometheus Grafana ELK).
- Optimize system performance and troubleshoot infrastructure issues proactively.
- Security & Compliance
- Ensure infrastructure adheres to security best practices and compliance requirements.
- Manage access controls patching and vulnerability remediation.
- Collaboration
- Work closely with development teams to ensure smooth integration between applications and infrastructure.
- Provide guidance and support for DevOps best practices across the organization.
- join the on call rotation for supporting off hours
Required Qualifications
- Technical Expertise
- College Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Strong proficiency in Linux administration (Redhat).
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform Ansible or equivalent).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker Kubernetes).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins GitLab CI or similar).
- Cloud & Networking
- Experience with major cloud providers (AWS Azure or GCP).
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (DNS load balancing firewalls).
- Scripting & Programming
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash Python).
- Soft Skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Impact Youll Make:
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with high-availability and disaster recovery strategies.
- Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g. ISO SOC2 and PCI).
- Familiarity with observability tools and performance tuning.
