Responsibilities for the OB RN Labor & Delivery traveler at CMMC: The L&D RN monitors maternal and fetal well being manages labor progression assists with deliveries and responds promptly to obstetric emergencies. This role requires strong clinical judgment effective communication and the ability to provide emotional support to patients and families during one of the most significant moments of their lives. Provides for safe efficient and caring nursing services to achieve high standards of patient care for Labor & Delivery and Obstetrics. Includes administering medications performing cervical exams within scope interpreting fetal monitoring strips preparing patients for operative deliveries and providing postpartum education. This nurse plays a critical role in promoting a positive birth experience and ensuring optimal outcomes for both mother and newborn. Must have experience in both Labor & Delivery. Current Montana RN license required. NRP Stable BLS
