• Comply with all Imerys MSHA and Equipment Mfg. Policies Safety Policies and Procedures.

• Set up and inspect equipment prior to operation. (Preshift) Check all fluids fuel engine oil hydraulic oil etc. tires steering brakes etc. Also completes the Daily Work Place Exam.

• Ensure the customer orders are responded to in a timely efficient and professional manner.

• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment handling; confer with supervisor to determine sorting and transfer procedures arrangement of packages on pallets and destinations of loaded pallets.

• Manipulate controls/conveyors and adjust equipment speeds/timing and material flow. Observe operations and monitor in order to maintain specified operating levels and to detect equipment malfunctions during packaging.

• Move freight stock and other materials to and from storage and production areas loading docks delivery vehicles by hand and other equipment.

• Mark and label containers container tags or products using marking tools.

• Measure weigh and count products and materials.

• Examine and inspect containers materials and products to ensure packing specifications are met.

• Record product packaging and order information on specified forms and records.

• Mechanical Basic knowledge of machines and tools including their designs uses repairs and maintenance.

• Can anticipate recognize and respond quickly to unexpected variations.

• Problem solving skills.

• Control Precision The ability to quickly and repeatedly adjust the controls of a machine or a vehicle to exact positions.

• Understanding of logistics.

• Any other job duties assigned by management.
