The Morgan Stanley U.S. Banks (Morgan Stanley Private Bank National Association and Morgan Stanley Bank N.A.) offer a range of deposit products including brokerage account sweep deposits via the Bank Deposit Program as well as Savings Notice Deposits CDs and Global Currency deposit products for Wealth Management clients. The Deposits and Cash Management team remains focused on expanding its core product offerings enhancing relationships with existing clients and broadening the product portfolio to attract new clientele.
Morgan Stanley U.S. Banks seek a dynamic candidate to join the Deposits Business Unit team at the Vice President level. This role will be responsible for developing and managing the implementation of comprehensive deposits pricing strategy as well as build and execute Deposit growth initiatives as we aim to aggressively grow balances over the next few years. This role will include significant collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop and implement pricing strategies execute on key priorities.
The primary responsibilities are as follows:
Develop and manage the implementation of comprehensive deposit pricing analytics and reporting
Drive enhancements to existing pricing models
Analyze deposit balance trends competitor pricing and execute Deposits Pricing Strategy
Develop key insight around customer segments and various deposit products
Evaluate size and develop new product opportunities initiativesand drive product management decisions
Develop analysis for senior management consumption and present analysis in various forums such as pricing meetings ALCO
Lead projects from start to finish working with cross-functional teams including partners from treasury marketing sales finance technology operations legal and compliance to launch and implement new initiatives
Engage and collaborate with partners to drive insight generation and gather fact base to support decision making
Support Financial Advisors Cash Management Specialists and Private Bankers in identifying client opportunities and the marketing of all deposit products and the client opportunities
Key Requirements:
Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in a Commercial or Private Bank analyzing and developing retail deposit products and pricing.
Superior analytical and statistical skills to process significant amounts of data and develop analytical reporting determine elasticity across client segments and develop key pricing strategies.
Experience with promotional product or cross selling campaigns and pricing strategies specifically aimed at developing new business generation for retail and/or private banks.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills including sound judgment; ability to create consensus and drive results when working with cross-functional teams.
Self-starter who is able to work independently on multiple tasks; efficient time management skills and attention to detail
Mastery of MS Office (Excel PowerPoint Word); with ability to put together cohesive senior management-ready material.
Experience in Wealth Management and working with Financial Advisors a plus.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $110000 and $190000 per year at the commencement of employment. However base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package which depending on the position may also include commission earnings incentive compensation discretionary bonuses other short and long-term incentive packages and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
