Director of Finance
Role Overview
Serves as a strategic advisor to senior business leaders translating financial insights into actionable business decisions. This role bridges finance and operations driving performance growth and value creation through rigorous financial planning analysis and partnership.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Partnership
- Act as a trusted financial advisor to executive (f.e. GIS President) and senior leadership (local leadership)
- Partner with business unit leaders to drive strategy growth initiatives and operational efficiency
- Influence decision-making through data-driven financial insights and scenario analysis
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Lead budgeting forecasting and long-range planning processes
- Analyze actual financial performance identify trends risks and opportunities
- Develop KPIs and dashboards to track business performance
Decision Support & Value Creation
- Evaluate deals and investments pricing strategies cost optimization and ROI
- Provide financial modeling and business cases for strategic and deal initiatives for the region and align for corporate direction
Financial Governance & Controls
- Ensure financial integrity compliance and adherence to corporate policies
- Partner with accounting tax treasury and audit teams
- Strengthen financial processes controls and reporting accuracy
Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead mentor and develop finance business partner team
- Foster strong cross-functional relationships (Other business lines like CES and Insurance markets Operations Sales HR)
- Drive a culture of accountability transparency and continuous improvement
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or related field (MBA or CPA preferred)
- 10 years of progressive finance experience including FP&A and business partnering
- Proven experience supporting senior leadership and influencing strategic decisions
- Strong financial modeling analytical and presentation skills; advanced proficiency in financial systems and Excel; ERP and BI tools experience preferred
- A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology
