Providetechnicalapplications ofsupportasto supportinternal/externalcustomers asidentified. Examples but not limited to;advise onprogrammingtechniques tool improvementsidentifyingand applying proper tools by applicationand communication with global colleagues on technical challenges.Support field salesteamby making technical calls to resolve customer issues and improve sales engineering technical knowledge. Provideon-goingsupport to specific customers to improve overallrelationship. Communicate with the team and provideappropriatefeedbackregardingchangesorcorrectionstotool specifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

Provide field-engineering support involving advising on and discussing complex customer requirements and application of standard/specialcompany products and designs.

Suggest& applymodifications toexisting or newspecifications to simplify engineering and manufacturing.

Work out mutually satisfactory adaptations to existing designs.

Adviseengineeringdepartment ondesigns and consult on methods of manufacture.

Provide technical support to customersregardingthe application or use oftooling.

Provide technical assistance to sales by running demonstrations or tools during special or difficult applications.

Assess returned warranty tooling and route forappropriate repair.

Provide feedback to sales engineering and product managementregardingperformance of tooling run in the field and recommendations for improvement.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCEREQUIRED:

High school diploma or equivalent.

5 years experience working with cutting tool applications and metalworking.

KnowledgeoftheCeratizitproductline.

CAD/CAMexperience ispreferredexposure tomultiple systemsa plus.

Hands on knowledge & experience in CNC programming.

Must be a self-starter; customer service oriented and be able to manage multiple projects. He/she must have the ability to solve problems and work independently.

Competent computer skills.Ability to use: Windows based software (Excel Word PowerPoint Access) Internet and email communications.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be willing and able to travel more than 50% of the time including overnight stays.

International travel is required.

A valid U.S. drivers license is required.

Must be a U.S. citizen.
