Sentara Pace is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a CNA.
Position Status: Part Time 20 weekly hours - Day Shift
Position Location: Home base is Norfolk VA. This position is 90% out in the field providing care at patient homes throughout Virginia Beach Norfolk and Chesapeake. Mileage reimbursement is paid for any miles driven between patient visits.
Pay Range: $16.92 - $25
We provide market-competitive compensation packages inclusive of base pay incentives and benefits.
Overview
Performs basic and routine patient care such as personal hygiene toileting meal preparation and feeding checks vital signs intake/output ambulation and assists patient with transfer from/to bed toilet and other areas of the PACE center or in the home.
Education
- Graduate of a state approved Nursing Assistant program/Trade School program (Required)
Certification/Licensure
- For applicants having recently completed an approved Nursing Assistant Program/Trade School program state CNA certification required within 120 days of hire. New hires with existing state CNA must be in good standing.
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
