We are seeking our new Senior DevOps Engineer to join the Axway team!
About Axway MFT
MFT (Managed File Transfer) is a secure enterprise-grade solution for automating and managing the exchange of data and files between systems applications partners and customersensuring compliance visibility and reliability across hybrid on-premises and multi-cloud environments.
About the MFT Cloud Readiness Team
The MFT Cloud Readiness Team accelerates Axways transition to a fully automated cloud-ready MFT offering assets and operations. As a Senior DevOps Engineer you will design build and maintain automation pipelines and CI/CD documentation that directly power Axway MFT Cloud Services. This involves a strong technology background for Kubernetes on AWS and Azure Terraform and extensive usage of centralized source and configuration management and dedication to self-serve automation.
Responsibilities
In this role you will be delivering solutions to the Axway Managed Cloud Team across the company. You will be exposed to a full software delivery lifecycle process involving tools such as Gitlab Terraform Ansible and a variety of AWS/Azure services.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and maintain containerized automation pipelines for our MFT Cloud Services for both AWS and Azure (EKS/AKS)
- Maintain automation pipeline for Classic MFT Cloud Services (VM-based MFT cloud solutions deployed in AWS and Azure)
- Work closely with the DevOps Architects to implement and update reference architecture for AWS and Azure
- Investigate pipeline failures cloud related problems and cross product integration issues
- Document and handover the pipelines to Axway Managed Cloud Team (Ops team)
Qualifications
Ideally you would have a mixture of the following:
- Strong Linux administration experience (cloud onprem)
- Expert-level Terraform CI/CD GitLab
- Hands-on with AWS (EKS ECS EC2 S3 IAM) and Azure equivalents (AKS Storage Key Vault)
- Solid understanding of networking load balancing security groups and cloud automation
- Experience with containerization & orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Strong cloud security culture
Nice to Have:
- Ansible knowledge
- Exposure to cloud migration/modernization
- Familiarity with MFT concepts
- Observability tools (Dynatrace Prometheus ELK)
- Proficiency with AI tools
