Position Description:
Working as a Director Consulting Expert at CGI means a varied and dynamic role in which you play a key part in further developing and growing our SAP business. You will work closely with both clients and internal teams to identify new business opportunities strengthen our market offering and position CGI as a leading SAP partner.
The role combines strategic thinking with a strong operational and services delivery focus. You are a natural driver in client dialogues early-stage business discussions and complex sales processes contributing deep expertise in the SAP portfolio as well as a strong understanding of clients business challenges. You are as well able to lead and further develop consulting and IT Services delivery for our clients bringing your Business Process SAP S/4 HANA product or Implementation experience and expertise to build relationship and deliver long-term value for our clients (Land and expand).
At CGI you are offered the opportunity to grow through both local client deliveries and larger global engagements. Your assignments may range from smaller short-term initiatives to large long-term programs. The work is carried out in close collaboration with colleaguesboth on-site with clients and from our local offices but involving CGIs near-shore and global SAP delivery capabilitiesand is based on established methods and models that provide clarity and confidence for both you and our clients.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
In this role you will be responsible for:
Initiating building and developing long-term customer relationships while leveraging and expanding your professional network in the SAP space
Playing a central role in client and business dialogues as well as early needs analyses
Driving the growth of CGIs SAP business by identifying developing and realizing new business opportunities and following these into concrete delivery and value for our clients
Contributing market and customer insights to further evolve our SAP offerings portfolio
Actively participating in and leading end-to-end sales processes including RFP responses and proposal work
Working in a goal-oriented manner and thriving in an environment where follow-up results and business outcomes are a natural part of everyday work
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
To feel confident and succeed in this role we believe you have:
Strong and broad knowledge of the SAP portfolio for example within S/4HANA SAP Cloud solutions and related ecosystems
Proven experience in business development client ownership or similar roles within a consulting or IT-related environment with One leg in Business Development one leg in services delivery
A solid understanding of the market customer needs and how business is created within complex organizations
An established professional network within the SAP domain or adjacent industries
Experience working with structured sales and business processes including proposal work and RFP responses
A good understanding of the Business of SAP i.e. how to handle relationship deals and positioning of CGI with SAP as a partner
Excellent communication skills and confidence in engaging with clients at various organizational levels
A strong business mindset and the ability to work toward clear goals with structured follow-up
Fluency in Business English proficiency in Business Swedish
