The role of theMusculoskeletal (MSK)Physician is tovirtuallydeliver exceptional patient caretopatients with both acute andchronicmusculoskeletalconditions without the use of opioids.We seek individuals with excellent clinical skills who embrace innovation in integrated care. There is a strong emphasis on evidence-based use of imaging and medications.In a unique modelMSK PhysiciansatVoriHealthevaluatecomplex patients with a physical therapistand those who arelower complexity who areescalated to them afteran initialassessment by a physical therapist.The MSK Physicians atVoriHealth supervise nurse practitioners andparticipatein weekly patient roundsto discuss challenging patients with a goal ofoptimizingpatientoutcomes.

WhatYoullDo:

• Essential Functions:

• Virtually evaluatediagnoseand treatpatients Monday-Friday

• Regular clinic schedule includes at least one evening per week

• Participation in after-hour call schedule

• Saturday clinic on a rotating basis will be added in the future. This wouldlikely involveone Saturday per month.

• Participatein weekly patient rounds

• Maintain professional and technical knowledge through attending educational workshops reviewing professional publications etc.

• Meet company and quality standards as defined byVoriHealth

• Grow non-clinical skill sets byparticipatingin internal work groups/task forces contribute to the development of medical standard operating procedures and engage in relationship building with medical and network partners

• Focus on outstanding total patient experience

• Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Direct/indirect supervision ofNPs with collaborative agreements in place

• Perform other projects and duties as assigned

Who You Are:

• Required:

• Board certification in one of the following:

• Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation withMSK/Sports/Spine Fellowship

• Family Medicine withMSK/Sports/Spine Fellowship

• Emergency Medicine withMSK/Sports/Spine Fellowship

• Internal Medicine withMSK/Sports/Spine Fellowship

• MD/DO with unrestricted license and at least 3 years clinical practice after training

• Will be expected todiscloseany impediments to multi-state licensure at the beginning of the interview process so that necessary accommodations can be made byVoriHealth license procurement facilitators

• Englishspeaking

• Experience with virtual care delivery

• Willingness to obtain multiple state licenses

• Demonstrated competence and passion for digital care delivery or telehealth: Comfort evaluating and treating patients remotelyutilizinga variety of digital tools to manage care

• Outstandingâwritten and spokenâcommunication skills across various channels and groupsâand managing teamâconflictâ

• Proven record of matching patient needs to treatment plans and proven record of implementing these plans safely and effectively

• Ability to describe medical conditions inan understandablefashion

• Experience administering a wide range of techniques delivered digitally

• Strong senseof empathy a compassionateoutlookand the ability to motivate patients into pushing their limits in a responsible safe way

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

• High speed internet ability to work from home

• Spanish speaking

• Experience withadministration of GLP-1 medications

• Fracture care (non-operative management)

• Bone Health management

• Ability tomaintainattention to detail while also seeing the bigâpictureââ
