Job Summary

Job Opportunity: Locum Nurse Practitioner - OB/GYN

Join a dedicated team at a thriving facility located in Bad Axe Michigan where you can make a difference in womens health care. We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner to cover shifts in our OB/GYN clinic. This position offers a supportive environment with experienced MAs and Receptionists to assist in delivering top-notch care to patients. The clinic operates Monday through Friday providing a flexible schedule and the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care to patients in an outpatient setting.
Conduct womens health services addressing a range of patient needs.
Manage a patient load of 18-25 patients per day.
Collaborate with support staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
Utilize the Cerner EHR system for patient documentation and management.
Participate in orientation and compliance requirements without reimbursement for malpractice costs.

Qualifications:

Active Michigan Nurse Practitioner license.
DEA license at the time of start.
No malpractice history; for quick credentialing.
2 years of recent Womens Health/OBGYN experience required.
Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
Local provider status preferred; travel expenses not covered.
Must present a self-query from NPDB pulled within the last 30 days.

ACLS Certification REQUIRED
BLS Certification REQUIRED
