The primary objective of this role is the managing and operationalising of the Companys strategic vision and standards - when it comes to new projects (infrastructure) and production processes and systems. The role involves project management managing the supplier selection process contracting implementing productions standards and systems across our 3rd party grower base. Assisting with implementing business systems data standards as well as the Company values. This role is key as it goes to the heart of the Companies revenue engine and strategy of providing a unique and consistent experience with its products.
Key outputs:
Projects & Business Management
- Establish and maintain SOPs for all new grower projects.
- Oversee due diligence site evaluations budgeting and supplier selection.
- Support 3rd party growers with resource planning and infrastructure development.
Agronomy Leadership
- Coordinate agronomy strategy across Latin America in alignment with global standards.
- Collaborate with consultants internal specialists and directors.
- Manage infield agronomists and implement annual technical plans.
- Conduct site visits review grower reports and ensure followup actions.
Quality & Compliance
- Lead implementation of Quality Management.
- Ensure projects meet regulatory sustainability and ESG standards.
- Manage compliance and quality teams to maintain best practices.
Knowledge & Data Management
- Expand and maintain the Grower Portal as a central knowledge base.
- Promote continuous learning and best practices across projects.
- Drive adoption of data systems to improve production decisions through analytics and reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree or higher in Agriculture Agronomy or related fields.
- Minimum 10 years of work experience in designing and executing production standards across multiple farming operations.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
- Travel will be required on a regular basis within the Americas (based in Peru).
- Computer literacy: MS Office and ERP systems.
- Excellent understanding of farming and agronomical techniques.
- Good understanding of the fruit industry (berries preferred).
- Excellent communication skills; verbal and written.
- Excellent planning. Results orientated.
- Excellent management and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage a team/function globally.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
