Job Summary
Experienced Medical Coder (CPC)
- Location: Infopark Kakkanad Kochi (Ernakulam)
- Shift: Night Shift (6:00 PM 3:00 AM)
- Doorstep Pick-up & Drop Facility (Within Ernakulam)
- Work Schedule: 5 Days a Week (Saturday & Sunday Fixed Off)
- Salary: Best in Industry (Based on Experience & Performance)
- Minimum 2 Years of Hands-on Experience in Medical Coding
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze patient medical records clinical notes operative reports and discharge summaries
- Assign accurate ICD-10-CM CPT and HCPCS codes in compliance with AAPC guidelines
- Ensure coding accuracy quality benchmarks and turnaround time (TAT) are consistently met
- Adhere to payer-specific coding guidelines and regulatory requirements
- Identify documentation gaps and work with internal teams for clarification
- Participate in internal audits quality checks and process improvement initiatives
- Stay updated with changes in coding standards compliance rules and healthcare regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 Years of Hands-on Experience in Medical Coding
- CPC Certification is Mandatory (AAPC)
- Minimum 2 Years of Hands-on Experience in Medical Coding
- Graduation in any discipline (Life Science background preferred)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology anatomy and coding concepts
- Experience working with productivity and quality benchmarks
- Willingness to work in a fixed night shift (6:00 PM 3:00 AM).
