Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
Perform mechanical fitting works including pipe fitting equipment installation and structural fit-up.
Assist in installation and alignment of pumps valves flanges and mechanical components.
Carry out cutting grinding bolting and minor fabrication works as required.
Support shutdown breakdown and routine maintenance activities.
Read and interpret basic drawings isometrics and work instructions.
Assist welders and technicians during fit-up and mechanical assembly.
Conduct removal replacement and installation of mechanical components.
Follow PTW systems HSE rules and use appropriate PPE at all times.
Maintain housekeeping and safe handling of tools and equipment.
Coordinate with supervisors and other trades to complete assigned tasks.
Requirements
ITI / Trade Certificate in Mechanical / Fitting / Fabrication or related discipline.
Minimum 35 years of experience as a Multicraft Fitter in oil & gas or industrial projects.
Experience across multiple trades such as pipe fitting structural works and mechanical maintenance.
Ability to work in plant shutdown and confined space environments.
Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.
Should have a valid QID
