Biomedical Scientist in Immunology
Banding: Band 6
Location: Charring Cross Hospitals
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing
Working Pattern: Monday - Friday Core hours only
Hourly Rate: 25 - 27
We are currently seeking a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist specialising in Immunology/Virology/Serology to join our clients team in the Charring Cross Hospital. This is a full-time ongoing position working core hours only offering a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to contribute to a busy and well-established laboratory service.
Key Responsibilities
You will perform immunological assays including flow cytometry ELISA and immunofluorescence. You will support diagnosis of immune disorders.
Qualifications and Experience
- HCPC registration
- Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent
- Experience in Immunology within a clinical laboratory
- Experience with flow cytometry and immunoassays
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- NHS experience (preferred)
